Solutions on how we can counter the consequences of climate change are becoming increasingly urgent. Scientific cooperation worldwide can make a significant contribution to this. Against this background, DAAD has published a position paper entitled "Sustainability in the DAAD" and activated a separate web area on the topic of sustainability. The position paper  defines four strategic goals. Three of them relate to the DAAD's orientation in terms of content and programme as well as its external activities. The fourth goal is to further improve the organisation’s own sustainability and climate footprint.
