The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission has opened an invitation to submit grant applications for the National Teams of Bologna Experts.  The call is addressed to the National Agencies of EU member states and covers the period 2011-2013. The purpose of this call is to support national teams that will provide a pool of expertise to promote and enhance progress toward higher education reforms in their respective countries. The Activity Plan for the National Teams ensures that selectees will also be active in collaborating at the European level.
 
The national teams will encompass a combination of important higher education actors including vice-rectors, deans, senior academics, directors of study, international relation officers and higher education experts. Each National Team of Bologna Experts will have an indicative minimum of 5 members. The actual number will depend on the size of the country, the number of higher education institutions and the opinion of the national authorities concerning  the composition of the team.  

The contract will last for a mandatory period of 30 months following the award of the contract.

Budget: EUR 3.5 million (total); EUR 15 000 minimum (budget based on student population)
