The proposal refers to action 4.1 of the programme, which provides support to bodies active at European level in the field of youth. The programme provides bodies pursuing an aim of general European interest in the field of youth with support for their regular activities in this field (particularly regarding initiatives linked to active citizenship amongst young people, the involvement of young people in democratic life, recognition of cultural diversity and the inclusion of young people who have fewer opportunities). An annual operating grant may be awarded to help such bodies meet their operating costs. The call is open to bodies from the EU member states, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, Turkey, the Western Balkans, Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and Switzerland. A condition for applying bodies is to have active member organisations in at least 8 of the aforementioned countries.
