The European Commission end of June has announced the selection results of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programmes (EMJMD) that will join the cadre of academically excellent, international programmes this year. 38 new programmes have been selected (compared to last year’s selection of 27 new programmes), which provide students with the unique opportunity to study across at least two institutions and countries, and represent a wide array of disciplines ranging from engineering to film making and social work. This year’s batch of selected programmes comprises 186 partner universities and nearly 600 associate organisations including business and industry actors, which collectively represent 84 different nations across the globe.
The new programmes will be added to EMJMD catalogue shortly and the application period for EU-funded scholarships, for students across the globe interested in commencing a master programme in autumn 2018, is expected to open between October and November 2017.
