ACA’s Austrian member, the Österreichischer Austauschdienst GmbH (OeAD), turns 50 in 2011 and kicks off this important anniversary year in a new home. Indeed, for the first time in its history, all of the organisation’s various units are housed under one roof. Located in the immediate vicinity of the University of Vienna and the city’s town hall, the new address provides a common space for all of OeAD’s approximately 150 staff members in a newly refurbished building of some historical significance.

The move to the new building, which was completed in late December 2010, positions OeAD nicely for an active agenda in 2011. In addition to its own golden anniversary celebration, the organisation will co-host the ACA 2011 Annual Conference in Vienna in May
