To enhance prospects for dialogue and respectful relations between Sweden and the Muslim world, the Swedish Institute will, during 2008, launch a leadership programme for young opinion-makers and journalists from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The aim is to develop a professional network of young leaders and shapers of public opinion from the MENA region and Sweden — a network that encourages openness and new creativity through innovative and shared learning processes.
