During 2006 ACA will work to design an Erasmus Mundus Alumni Association. The project aims to create a solid foundation for a long-lasting and active alumni association that will provide a network for Erasmus Mundus graduates from Europe and the rest of the world. During the year a web-portal will be developed, a directory of Erasmus Mundus students and graduates will be created, and a newsletter will be launched.

The Erasmus Mundus Program started in 2004. It is a mobility programme designed to strengthen European and international ties in higher education. Through EU-funded scholarships around a thousand third country nationals will participate in specific European masters programmes this year. Scholarships are also awarded to EU-nationals for study outside the European Union.
