DAAD is fostering “Study Bridges” with its partners

Since 2015, the Goethe Institute, the University Alliance Ruhr and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) have been preparing international graduates in 18 countries for studying at a German university as part of the so-called Study Bridges programme. On 8 March 2019, at the presence of the Minister for Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Isabel Pfeiffer-Poensgen, the three partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand the programme in other countries and to gain additional partner universities.

Thanks to a targeted training in terms of language, culture and competences, this education programme enables international graduates to start their studies at a German partner university. The Study Bridges programme is fostering the internationalisation and attractivity of the participating universities as well as the promotion of skilled employees.
