Following the ULAM NAWA call, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) announced the start of the recruitment for the 6th edition of the POLONISTA NAWA programme. POLONISTA NAWA aim is to promote the Polish language and popularise Polish studies and research around the world by enabling foreigners interested in the Polish language and culture to undertake studies or carry out research projects in Poland.
Foreign students, PhD students and scientists whose subject of study or research is the Polish language, Polish culture, art, literature and history are invited to participate in the programme. Under the programme, students and PhD students can be granted scholarships for full or partial Polish studies at selected universities in Poland. Scientists-scholarship holders of the POLONISTA NAWA programme can carry out research projects lasting from 3 to 12 months at Polish universities, also in English. Polish scientists and academic teachers can carry out research and teaching projects in foreign academic centers that offer Polish studies, Polish studies or Slavic studies with Polish as a minimum at the bachelor's level.
