The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is expanding its range of funding opportunities related to artificial intelligence (AI). Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with around EUR 25 Million , the DAAD is supporting the establishment of three ‘Konrad Zuse Schools of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence'.   

The schools’ aim is to give a comprehensive boost to the education of outstanding young national and international AI talents at master’s degree and doctoral level in Germany, complemented by the collaboration with non-university research institutions as well as experts from research and development departments in relevant industries.  

The call for applications for the ‘Konrad Zuse Schools’ is open until 22 October 2021.
