The DAAD is supporting 30 new internationalisation projects at 27 universities of applied sciences (UAS). Since 2019, the DAAD has carried out the “HAW.International” programme for innovative projects in the fields of development and implementation of internationalisation strategies as well as the establishment of cross-border networks in study, teaching, research, and transfer. The selected projects that prevailed in the third round of the DAAD programme, aim to prepare students for the labour market of the future and contribute to expanding the internationalisation of universities. The chosen projects receive around EUR 21 million in funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research until 2025.
