The HEXTLEARN (Higher Education exploring ICT use for Lifelong Learning) project aimed at generating awareness, commitment and networking on quality assurance aspects and strategic integration of ICT in teaching, learning and innovation in higher education. The project, coordinated by Scienter Italy and contracted by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, was financed by the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013 - Transversal Programme.

As a partner in this project, ACA was mostly involved in research, by collecting good practices in this field and by analysing, together with the other partners, the effectiveness of the different approaches in ICT/eLearning used by educational institutions in implementing the lifelong learning strategy. ACA was also involved in the dissemination phase of the project, bringing a significant overall contribution through its network of experts and contacts.

This project was carried out with the support of the Lifelong Learning Programme, Erasmus action of the European Union.
