eLearning Papers: Call for papers on performance support & learning analytics

The next edition of the eLearning Papers will bear the title Performance Support and Learning Analytics.  Performance support is about giving workers access to certain information that can help them to perform their jobs as effectively as possible. The papers will focus on the use of learning analytics (data mining, visualisation, etc.) for workplace learning in its broadest sense. Both theoretical and empirical work is welcome, and below are some of the proposed research topics:

  • Performance support tools (checklists, wizards, sidekicks, planners)
  • Learning in the workplace
  • In-service teacher training and performance support
  • Competences addressed with performance support i.e. new curriculum with performance support system
  • Continuing education and professional development
  • Q&A in performance support
  • Learning analytics potential to unveil individual learning styles
  • Learning analytics: adaptation and customization of learning
  • Educational data mining
  • Big data for business intelligence

The call for papers is open and the submission deadline is 27 July 2014.
